Mentors serve as indispensable guides and supporters for participating teams. Their role is not only essential in helping teams overcome challenges and refine their projects but also in offering valuable guidance and insights. By taking on the role of a mentor for the competition, you not only contribute to the success of the participating teams but also gain valuable experience, receive recognized certificates provided by Rezo and SASCO, and access SASCO Coupons as tokens of appreciation for your dedication to fostering the growth of aspiring innovators during the competition.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Requirements:

  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills are essential for providing clear, constructive feedback and maintaining open lines of communication with teams.

  • Conflict Resolution: Mentors should have the ability to mediate and resolve conflicts that may arise within teams, promoting a harmonious and productive working environment.

  • Proficiency in the English Language.

  • Availability and Commitment: Mentors should commit to being available during the competition period to provide ongoing support and address issues promptly.

  • Time Management Skills: Efficient time management skills to balance providing feedback to multiple teams and addressing any challenges or conflicts that may arise during the competition.

  • Critical thinking: Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of different strategies, identifying potential issues, and assisting in guiding towards innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and expertise to participating teams, offering strategic advice to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

  • Conduct regular check-ins with assigned teams to assess their progress, address any issues or concerns, and offer timely feedback to help teams refine their projects.

  • Foster a supportive and collaborative environment by actively engaging with teams, encouraging open communication, and promoting a culture of learning and innovation.

  • Identify and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise within teams, promoting effective communication and teamwork among team members.
